after about a month, the phone mysteriously starts turning itself off. for no reason. no pattern to this, no dropping-it-on-the-floor, nothing.....just turns off. i should have sent it back then. My house-mate has the same phone and her's does exactly the same thing. another friend of mine had it, his did exactly the same thing. do not buy it! it now has already turned itself off about ten times today and its only 12:30..don't buy it! it is also incapable of doing more than one function at a time....it will lure you in with its big colourful screen and smooth buttons and lovely slide action - just say no!!

the worst phone ive ever had. many reviews on the net state this phone has the same flaw , it keeps switching off, (not what you want when you need to make an emergency call and it keeps displying no sim). yes its flash, looks good and is good as a walkamn but not one to rely on.my advice check reviews across the net on ths phone.for me, its been a waste of money.

A neat little phone. Slim, elegant slider design. Despite this, it is nice to hold. The case made from user and touch friendly material. It seems much more robust than my first impression.
The sound quality, through the speaker is, like the phone, a little thin. Phone calls were ok though, but may need to up the sound a bit, if in a noisy enviroment. The walkman sound quality of songs, through a good pair of headphones, is stunning.
It has all the usual features, all easily obtained through a good inter face menu. The walkman playlist feature, combined with the SE software media manager is very user friendly. It takes only a few seconds to download a song from a CD, through the media manager on the computer, and from there it will download straight onto the phone. Selecting that song, to put in a playlist is hassle free. I found this much easier, and more enjoyable than on my previous SE phone.
A good sized screen, and a good idea is to purchase a screen protector.
One mention, is the selection of themes with this phone, far better quality than on any of the other phones I have owned. However if you are looking for free games, you will be dissapointed. The games slot is taken by a few one minute demos, from there you have to purchase the game.
So to sum up this is a terrific, slider, walkman phone, the whole presentation including the screen lay outs, and colour, is well designed and sophisticated. The camera function and picture quality is good. So, we come to the `however` word. However, I feel the key pad is the part of the phone, which could be better. At least the keys are a decent size. Not the little circle things, on some SE phones, although they may be pleasing to many users. But they seem a tad sticky. On depressing them, to type a text, there is never a clear sensation of the key pad having been firmly de-pressed. So I needed to check after each word if the correct keys, had in fact, been activated. It is only a small point, in a phone which I found to be very pleasing indeed. And I would and have, and still give it five stars and a plus.
The gimmick on the W910i - shake the phone to change a walkman track !
